Moskus plays Plastic Sun

With infectious playfulness, and a great will to experimental, Moskus (Anja Lauvdal, piano, Fredrik Luhr Dietrichson, bass, Hans Hulbækmo, drums) has become one of the most important voices of the new generation Norwegian jazz.
With Paul and Carla Bley as inspiration, the band share their references with Svein Finnerud Trio, the Norwegian jazz trio who for decades had Henie Onstads Museum´s Studiosal as a playground. In the same venue, the trio recorded the album Plastic Sun on February 19, 1969, an LP, which has since become one of the most important releases of Norwegian jazz music history.
On December 2nd, Moskus will do their interpretation of Plastic Sun – in the same room, on the same piano – as the original album was recorded.
Henie Onstad welcomes a new meeting with this amazing music!
Before the concert, Audun Vinger will moderate a talk with Kjell Bjørgeengen and Christian Wallumrød about Plastic Sun, Finnerud Trio and art.
2:00 pm: Talk with Audun Vinger, Kjell Bjørgeengen and Christian Wallumrød
